The short version: Some links on BizAI Tools are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we’d genuinely suggest to a client, and commissions never influence our editorial verdicts.
How we make money
BizAI Tools is a free resource for UK small business owners. To keep it running, we participate in affiliate programmes run by the software companies we review. When you click an affiliate link on our site and go on to subscribe to a product, we may receive a commission from that company.
These commissions are paid by the software vendors — not by you. The price you pay is always the same whether you use our link or go directly to the company’s website.
Which links are affiliate links?
Any link to a tool or product on BizAI Tools may be an affiliate link. Where we use call-to-action buttons such as “Try Xero free” or “Start your free trial”, these are affiliate links. We do not mark every individual link with a label, as this would make the site harder to read — this disclosure page covers all affiliate relationships across the site.
Current affiliate relationships include, but are not limited to:
- Xero
- QuickBooks (Intuit)
- Dext
- HubSpot
- Monday.com
- Notion
- Zapier
- Semrush
- Canva Pro
- Jasper AI
We update this list as new partnerships are added.
Our editorial principles
Affiliate income helps us keep BizAI Tools free and independent. But it comes with a responsibility we take seriously. We protect our editorial integrity in four ways::
We research thoroughly before we recommend — Every tool featured on BizAI Tools has been researched in depth, including analysis of features, UK pricing, user reviews, and suitability for small business owners. We do not recommend tools based on commission rates alone.
Commissions don’t change rankings — We rank tools based on their merit for UK small business owners, not on which pays the highest commission.
We include honest cons — Every review includes genuine downsides and a “who should not buy this” section. We never omit negatives to protect a commission.
We decline partnerships that don’t fit — We turn down affiliate relationships with tools we don’t believe in, even when the commission is attractive.
UK legal requirements
This disclosure is made in accordance with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidelines on affiliate marketing. We are required to be transparent when content is commercially influenced, and this page fulfils that requirement across all content on BizAI Tools.
We are also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and comply with UK GDPR in relation to any data collected through this website.
Display advertising
In addition to affiliate income, BizAI Tools may display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense or similar networks. These ads are served automatically based on page content and visitor context. We do not have direct relationships with individual display advertisers and advertising content does not influence our editorial recommendations.
